Pocket Cuisine is a simple application to record and share your recipes. It does not come with a pre-defined list of recipes, but easily allows you to add your own.

Sharing recipes
Pocket Cuisine allows you to easily share recipes with family and friends. Simply select the recipe of your choice, select Edit and click Email. Pocket Cuisine will then share the recipe with the person(s) of your choice by email.
Pocket Cuisine can also easily import recipes shared by family and friends. Simply read the email sent by another instance of Pocket Cuisine, select the attachment and Pocket Cuisine will automatically import the recipe in its local database.
Advanced sharing
It is easy to also share from a device that does not have Pocket Cuisine installed, all you need is a simple text editor and email. Simply execute the following steps:
Advanced sharing format (JSON)
Pocket Cuisine uses the following JSON format for exporting/importing recipes. Simply update the following fields with your recipe's content, save in a file and email to yourself:

- on your computer, save your recipe in a file called MyRecipe.csn and email the file to yourself;
- on your device, read the email you have just sent and click on the attachment;
- this will open Pocket Cuisine and your recipe will be automatically imported;
- you can later edit the recipe to suit your needs.
